Gin is the go-to spirit for many, and its popularity shows no signs of slowing.

In this digital tasting session, we celebrate Yorkshire’s first gin, Masons of Yorkshire. Launched in 2013 on World Gin Day with great success, Masons quickly gathered momentum in sales and accumulated several awards. This rapid increase in stature led to the purchase of their own still in 2014, which was the only operational still in Yorkshire at the time.

Despite losing their original distillery in a terrible fire in 2019, Masons bounced back with a new site, a new liquid, and now sell over 400 000 bottles a year.

Your Sip Along guide will be Pete Hayes, Regional Development Manager for Masons. Pete will talk us through their most recent, flavoured expressions and The Original gin, which put Yorkshire spirits back on the map.
