Sip Along: Applewood Gin and Oyster Night

“You, me and a martini or three.”

This February, Rolling Social Events is collaborating with Applewood gin, private chef No Fixed Abode and Hedonist Bar to bring you an evening of unique Gin tasting, Oysters and Martini Masterclasses.

Applewood Gin is based on the concept that you do not own the land but are merely custodians of it. An award-winning spirit, crafted with original ingredients Inspired by the Australian landscape. Applewood adds value to native ingredients, supporting farmers who opt for more sustainable methods and understand the importance of working in harmony with nature.

Leading the chat on all things gin will be Applewood ambassador Henry Hammersla. Moving to Australia from the UK when he was five, Henry grew up next door to the bustling epicurean hub of Yarra Valley in Victoria. Surrounded by native forest and wine country henry found a love of storytelling, art and opera before his foray into the hospitality world. Cutting his teeth in Sydney, Henry has worked across Perth and Melbourne in world-class venues and as a consultant for collectors and retailers of boutique spirits. Expect passion, crazy facts and plenty of storytelling!

This event will occur at The Hedonist Bar in Leeds, an award-winning cocktail bar. Ranked in the UK’s Top 50 bars for its 2nd consecutive year.
