We are bringing back one of our most popular tastings for our next in-person Sip Along tasting at The Tetley Leeds.

On 24 September, we are showcasing not one, not two, but THREE whiskies in an evening dedicated to the journey of whisky. That means three tastings, three cocktails, three ambassadors and three drams to take away (just in case you forget what they taste like afterwards).

Sip Along as we explore America, Ireland and Scotland and their whisk(e)y making capabilities, with our ambassadors Joseph, Matt and Charlotte for Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Slane Irish Whiskey and Benriach Single Malt. We’ll talk through the history of each production and the differences that make all three countries unique. Three cocktails created by the ambassadors will accompany each whisk(e)y, designed to showcase each spirit in all its glory.

A tasting of: 

• Benriach The Original 10
• Slane Irish
• Woodford Reserve

Three Cocktails:

• Old Fashioned – Woodford Reserve, orange oils, sugar, aromatic bitters
• “Peaches” – Slane Irish, peach aperitif, ginger ale, lemon
• Highball – Benriach The Original 10, club soda, lemon zest

A DIY kit to take away, including:

• Three miniatures, including the above whiskies
• Three specialist glassware items

This event is a must-attend for the whisky enthusiast or newcomer to the category and will occur at The Tetley in Leeds, home of the former brewery and contemporary art space, restaurant and bar.
